Or contact us by phone (see How to contact chemBlink?)
(5) How do I submit products for premium links or massive links?
You must contact us (see How to contact chemBlink?), sign contract and submit the list of products to be linked.
(6) As a customer with premium links, how do I update the information about my company after I have already finished registration?
You may log in your account from the following links and modify by yourself:
(7) How long does it take a free standard link to appear on the listings after being submitted?
chemBlink does not guarantee a timeframe for standard links to appear. It can be from one day to months.
(8) How long does it take a premium link or a massive link to appear on the listings after being submitted?
From the time the product is submitted as a premium link and the fee is collected, it will be listed within 24 hours. For the massive links, it will take 3 work days.
(9) Is it normal if a submitted product only appears with its name and no other information?
If the submitted product does not exist in the database, our experts will collect, review and create data file for the product. The process will complete in 10 work days. The full information will be online in the next update.
(10) We submitted our company information but cannot find it in your database.
If you only submitted supplier information but have not submitted any products yet, your company will not appear. You must have at least one product to be listed as a supplier.
(11) We submitted a standard link, but cannot find the product in your database.
Submitted chemical products do not immediately get linked, but will require verification. A standard link can delay from a day to a couple of months for verification.
(12) Will 100% of my submitted products as standard links be successfully listed?
chemBlink will only list products that are also listed on your company's website and verified by our experts. You may submit your important and hot products as premium links, which chemBlink guarantees to list within 24 hours.
(13) If I get a message that says "Your company has already submitted 50 products", what should I do?
Currently the limit of free standard links for one company is 50. You may remove or replace your submitted products, or contact chemBlink to submit more products as premium links or massive links (see How to contact chemBlink?)
(14) If I get a message that says "Form could not be processed due to a temporary system error", what should I do?
Mostly, you might have submitted products with incorrect contexts. Please check submitted contents, such email address, etc.
(15) What is the difference between premium links and standard links?
What is the difference between premium links and standard links?
All suppliers of a product are listed on the product page as text links (standard links) pointing to suppliers' company pages on chemBlink. If there are no suppliers using premium linking for this product, visitors can submit inquiries to all suppliers by using Express Inquiry button or online inquiry form. However, if some suppliers have purchased the Premium Linking service for this product, only hyperlinks of these suppliers (premium links) are posted on the top part of the product page. Visitors can submit inquiry directly to these suppliers, while other suppliers, who have not purchased the paid service, will be invisible. Visitors can access them only by using the "More Suppliers..." link pointing to product supplier pages. Because buyers and premium suppliers can do business directly on product page, a premium link will bring more customers to premium supplier. Moreover, a premium supplier is always listed above standard suppliers on a product page where the premium supplier submitted the product as standard link.
(16) What should I do after the first year of registration?
As one of chemBlink's suppliers a company can submit up to 50 products as Standard links for free of charge after registration. During the first membership year the company has been familiar with chemBlink's services. From the second membership year we encourage suppliers to select chemBlink's advanced services to promote their most competitive products and to obtain the qualification of using up to 300 free standard links.
(17) Since chemBlink is open source, why do you still charge a fee?
chemBlink's primary purpose is to provide free information of products to the public. Its primary product promotion program, Standard Linking, is also free of charge. For additional services such as premium links, a small fee is charged to cover maintenance costs such as servers, licenses, and workforce.
(18) If I get a message that says "You submitted xxxx-xx-x, which is a product with Premium Linking.", what should I do?
chemBlink offers the free advertisement plan (Standard Linking) and the paid service (Premium Lining) to customers. If your submitted products are already listed as Premium products (that is, other suppliers have paid for the text link ads of these products), these suppliers will be displayed on the top part of the product page and receive inquiries submitted by buyers directly form the product page. Your company will be listed among the standard supplier list on the lower part of the product page. There is no inquiry facilities available to submit inquiry directly from the page. You can ignore the message. However, you may consider to submit the product as Premium link for better service. See "(15) What is the difference between premium links and standard links?".
(19) What is CAS Filter?
The CAS numbers that you try to submit may be invalid (that is, they do not properly consist of numbers defined by CAS's formula) or already submitted as Premium links (that is, other suppliers have paid for text link ads of these products). Although the system will inform you when you submit them, it is annoying if there are many such CAS numbers in your submission. The CAS Filter enables you to find all invalid or unallowable CAS numbers by one click. The link of CAS Filter can be found on the submission page.
(20) Who is a Premium supplier?
Premium supplier is the chemical supplier who has participated in chemBlink's Premium Linking program. Similarly, standard supplier refers to the chemical suppliers who has participated in the Standard Linking Program, while massive supplier is the supplier who has joined in the Massive Linking Program. As an online chemicals database and search engine, chemBlink has no authorization to determine the qualifications of a company as a chemicals supplier. It is the supplier itself who must take full legal responsibility for its services and product quality. However, chemBlink accepts the challenge of constraining its member suppliers with common business regulations and morals by asking members to provide their company's information and business licenses. Members must sign contracts promising to provide quality services and products and prevent fake advertising. Being a Premium Supplier means that they are qualified to obtain chemBlink's advanced services. chemBlink uses various means to protect buyers by tracking inquiries, providing fraud / spam reporting systems, and allowing rating of suppliers. chemBlink will never be involved in business disputes between buyers and suppliers, but will provide a platform for communication and coordination. If a supplier is repeatedly reported for fraud is proven, its submitted products and information will immediately be eliminated. We welcome more suppliers to participate in chemBlink's Premium Linking and other advanced programs, which is a mechanism beneficial to both purchasers and suppliers.
(21) Do you accept credit cards for online payment?
Yes. You can pay your invoice online by using most popular credit cards, debit cards or PayPal accounts. Please see details in this document.
